This is the module we’ve been building toward. The one where everything comes together—what you’ve learned about learning theory, dog behavior, ritualization and body language, avoiding dog fights, screening & group composition, and transporting dogs.

It’s time to look at a well-managed walk, from start (at the dog’s home and during transport) to trail (or sidewalk, beach, etc.). You’ll learn general strategies for safe, calm walks, plus specific management and training protocols for walking the various types of project dogs we discussed back in Module 3.

We’ll wrap with an exercise designed to help you learn to make snap decisions about when—and how—to intervene based on your read of the situation.
