The DogNostics Dog Training Journeyman Couse is a standalone course, however, we highly recommend completion of the Apprentice level course before undertaking the Journeyman level. Journeyman is the second level of the DogNostics Dog Trainer Certificate Program, which consists of three courses - Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master.

The Comprehensive DogNostics' DTC Program covers the required skills and knowledge to practice competently. Graduates of the DogNostics Dog Trainer Certificate Program are skilled in the application of science and artistic endeavor, delivering results through empathy and mutual respect for both client and pet. The DogNostics' Journeyman Course follows on from the Apprentice course, continuing to provide you with the strong foundations that will be crucial to your future success.

  • The DogNostics' Journeyman Dog Training Course aims to encourage both guardians and trainers to continue to develop their dog training skills and increase their knowledge while having the best time possible!
  • The Journeyman Dog Training Course consists of six modules which include individual lessons, supportive documentation, e-learning videos, and an assortment of fun homework assignments that allow you to practice your skills and test the knowledge you have gained.
  • Please view the curriculum below to understand the depth and breadth of everything you will learn in this Journeyman Level Course!
  • Each Journeyman Module builds on the knowledge and skills gained in the previous modules and each course (Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master) builds on the knowledge and skills from the previous course. Please note, if you haven't already completed the Apprentice level, we urge you to do so. Alternatively, you can check the Apprentice Level Curriculum to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge required to begin the Journeyman Course.
  • Successful students gain a course attendance certificate for each level – Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master.
  • On successful completion of all three levels, applicants can take their final online exam to earn their professional Dog Trainer Certificate and the right to display the credential, DN-DTC, after their name
  • Please note: If you wish to gain your DogNostics Dog Trainer Certification, you will need to take all three courses. You can register here for the full program.
